If your car is OBD1, you need to take any D series dizzy thats not a z6 or z1 dizzy, use its base, and swap the z6 internals into it. the woodruff key is different for each head. use a y8 cam gear for the y8 head. The Z6 is a tight fit but works fine. All "new" Z6 and Y8 head gaskets should be multi-layer steel (especially if aftermarket OE-spec). I think the original A6 is still composite.
