WebJan 26, 2024 · -Scanned the obd, B2799. -Thought it is a transponder problem, called toyota, was told it is inside the ecu (it's not). -Replaced ecu from wrecker with same number (89661-02L71). -Tried to do the 30mins reset, didnt work. -Still has B2799. Checked the ground on ecu, check wires between transponder and ecu (i took dash apart). All good.
